ComedianI'm Anders, a Finnish stand up comedian and screenwriter. I do stand up comedy in Swedish, Finnish and English. I live in a small town in the Finnish archipelago. This is my website, welcome.

I have been working with stand up comedy professionally for over ten years now.
I perform at comedy clubs, theaters, and restaurants – in Swedish, Finnish, and English. I also enjoy doing comedy at corporate events that are well-arranged.
Stand up has always been close to my heart. I love how stand up allows you to study and play with ideas, without borders. These days, I spend a lot of my time writing jokes about current affairs. So stand up gives me the freedom to either dig deeper into the news or set them aside.
Screenwriter
From writing sketches for theatre and radio I took the step into the world of television in 2014 when we launched Noin viikon uutiset (YLE), a Daily Show-esque news satire show.
The show won the award for best comedy two years in a row and was behind the massive Youtube hit Finland Second.
In 2018 I started as a host and a head writer for a similar show, Noin viikon studio. The show ran for two years and we participated in the joint satire venture Comedians for Worldpeace - Do They Know It's Europe.
About
I started doing comedy at the same time as I got my B.Sc in economics, acted in theatre plays and got my first child.
Maybe these circumstances are the ones that led to that I since have written, produced and appeared in several tv shows, hosted radio shows etc. I have even written lyrics for an album of children's music.
